My name is Amy Hoyt.

I am a Visiting Scholar at Claremont Graduate University. I am drawn to academic conversations that examine how gender, religion and justice connect in a global context. My work centers upon gender in Mormonism, including issues of female agency, historical expressions of masculinities, the concept of family and most recently, the religious lives of women in Africa after national conflict.
